Description
The PPAC series of Pleated Polyester Powdered Activated Carbon cartridges are constructed totally of FDA-grade materials. They have combination of sediment and chlorine reduction capabilities.
This unique construction of the PPAC series means that it has a large filtration area and can handle higher flow rates than other carbon cartridges - but, because of the limited quantity of carbon present in the media, it is not recommended for removal of organics, pesticides or THMs. PPAC series cartridges are excellent polishing filters, closed-loop streams and are ideal for post-reverse osmosis applications. These cartridges are for cold water use

PPAC cartridges are recommended for use when sediment removal is required in combined with taste and odour reduction
